Our Project/ Application i.e. Happy Train Journey is an Android Application where we provide the Passengers of the train different features through which they can stay busy throughout their journey. These features are not only a mode for passing time but they are also very beneficial for the Passengers. These features/ facilities i include:
• Accurately monitor their journey through the Application and stay up-to date with their location through Google Map.
• Common Messenger will allow the user to communicate with other Passengers of the train and share their journey experiences with them along the way.
• Newsfeed features provide them easy to use interface and options through which they can view latest and up-to-date news with the categories that are available.
• We have provided history of major Railway Stations of Pakistan.
• Notifications are generated upon reaching a particular City/ Station that would keep the user up-to-date about his Journey.
• The App provides the user the facility to find the distance and estimated time to reach the final destination.
